Data Protection Manager 2008

With TechEd: Developers going on this week and TechEd: IT Forum running next week, Microsoft opened up the website on Microsoft Management Summit (MMS) 2007. You can now register for this event in San Diego, from March 26-30. On the Content Overview page Microsoft revealed the final naming for some products:

... In addition during the event there will be early looks at two additional products due to ship at the end of the year:

System Center Data Protection Manager 2008

System Center “Service Desk”

So it seams that DPM v2 has been renamed to 2008. Also, on the page they mention Virtual Machine Manager 2007. No word on the final naming of "Service Desk", though.
