NLB does not work with images

For those of you trying out their setups in a Virtual PC lab, this is a nice article. I was setting up a NLB lab with 2 Windows Server 2003 machines in Virtual PC the other day when I got the error message "no interface available for installing a new cluster". I never managed to find out what it was and the strange thing was that at the customer's site all worked fine. Just now I found a MS knowledgebase article (Q828258) explaining that you basically never should use OS images for a NLB test lab. As it seems, the Network GUID stay the same, causing unpredictable results. Grmbl!
